The story of Villas Prestige & Services began long before Saint-Tropez.

In the late 1980s, Anne-Claire, a young woman from Cherbourg, arrived in Ibiza almost by chance. There, she discovered a world that was still relatively confidential at the time, private holiday homes rented to an international clientele that was already highly demanding. Villas, owners, stays organised down to the smallest detail and a genuine culture of service, long before the term became fashionable.

Very quickly, she understood that this profession went far beyond simple rentals. It was about understanding homes, respecting their identity and accompanying families who expect a great deal but above all want everything to feel effortless and fluid. This first experience shaped her vision of hospitality, discreet, rigorous and deeply human.

A few years later, Anne-Claire settled in Saint-Tropez. She created and developed her business with the same level of commitment she had known in Ibiza, convinced that another model was possible, more structured, more reliable and entirely dedicated to villas and to those who live in them, even if only for a few weeks. In 2003, she founded Villas Prestige & Services, one of the first agencies in the region to specialise exclusively in villa rentals with tailor-made services.

Since then, VPS has been built on long-lasting relationships with owners, travellers and a trusted network of partners. An independent, locally rooted house that favours quality over quantity and for which every stay always begins with a conversation.

From one generation to the next

Julien grew up alongside this adventure. As a child, he watched his mother create, structure and develop her business on her own in Saint-Tropez. He observed the homes, the teams, the owners and the constant attention given to the invisible details that make a stay truly successful. From an early age, the sense of service and respect for work done properly became second nature to him.

Naturally, he chose to train at leading hospitality schools in France and later in London, before gaining international experience. From Buenos Aires to José Ignacio, from Hong Kong to Miami, he worked in demanding environments, alongside clients accustomed to an exceptionally high level of service. These experiences shaped a broader, more contemporary vision, always centred on people and lived experience.

When he joined Villas Prestige & Services, Julien returned to what matters most, homes, stays and the relationship of trust built by his mother over more than thirty years. He brought his own perspective, enriched by years spent around the world, while remaining deeply faithful to the DNA of the house.

Today, Anne-Claire and Julien work side by side, surrounded by a loyal and committed team. They share the same ambition, to continue building VPS as a recognised service house, where every villa is respected, every owner is listened to and every stay is orchestrated with precision, natural ease and discretion. A trust built over time, at the heart of some of the most beautiful homes in Saint-Tropez.
